About Startup Weekend Skopje
For 14 years, Startup Weekend Skopje has been bringing together young innovators, entrepreneurs and changemakers in the heart of North Macedonia.
Since its first edition in 2011, it has become an important part of the local startup ecosystem, a place where ideas become teams, teams become businesses, and new founders take their first step. Over the years, the Startup Weekend Skopje community has helped spark successful ventures such as Brainster, Ways2Help, Challenger, Air Care and others.
In 2026, for its 14th edition, Startup Club Skopje officially takes over as the lead organizer, bringing its experience in youth entrepreneurship, startup programs and community building.
Our mission is simple: to give the next generation the tools, connections and confidence to turn ideas into action.
Because every startup starts somewhere. Sometimes, it starts in one weekend.
About Startup Club Skopje
Startup Club Skopje is a non-governmental organization dedicated to strengthening and growing the startup ecosystem in North Macedonia. Founded in 2019 and actively building its community since 2023, Startup Club Skopje creates opportunities for young people, founders, freelancers and innovators to learn, connect and build.
At the heart of its work is #ИмамИдеја, the country's only startup incubation program. With 450+ applications, three successfully completed cohorts and 48 startups supported, the program continues to help turn early-stage ideas into real ventures, with the fourth cohort set to launch in late 2026.
Beyond its programs, Startup Club Skopje brings the community together through its podcasts Startup Revolution and The Freelancers Hangout, an open and free coworking space, an event space, and a growing calendar of community events and initiatives.
Startup Club Skopje is also the lead organizer of Startup Revolution AI Summit, bringing together founders, startups, investors, innovators and the wider tech community. In 2026, the second edition of the Summit is set to bring together 2,000+ participants in Skopje.
